Roosters smoking cigars, iconic signs brought back to life and fan favorite, Winky the manatee. These are just a few new designs that Hogan Made, an almost 2 year old Tampa business that celebrates local neighborhoods and Florida themes, has come out with in the last few months. Focusing mainly on T-shirts and tank tops, Hogan Made celebrates community pride through their unique designs representing different areas of Tampa Bay.
If you've been to Ybor City, you’ve probably seen the roosters (or heard them). Our latest design, the Smokin’ Rooster, came out at the beginning of October. It doesn’t get much more Ybor than a rooster smoking a cigar. The Apollo Beach Shopping Center sign has been a recognizable icon for years now, and Hogan Made rejuvenated the retro-style design onto a shirt. Winky the Manatee, Hogan Made’s cutest mascot, recently got a face-lift. Fans and friends of Hogan Made wanted to see Winky a little bigger, so we delivered!
Hogan Made can also bring your ideas to life using heat transfer vinyl. Custom shirts are becoming more and more popular at events like birthday parties, gag gifts, bride/groom parties or just a fun, unique design that would make a great shirt. Hogan Made began selling the shirts and other products at Ybor City Saturday Market in April 2016. The rooster shirts were an instant hit, and the company quickly began creating designs for other neighborhoods. Their motifs now include Tampa Heights, Bayshore Boulevard, Seminole Heights, Hyde Park, and Sulphur Springs, with more on the way. Watch for tees celebrating YOUR community!
Visit Hogan Made at the Ybor City Saturday Market October through June, 9 a.m-3 p.m., and at MiraBay Market in Apollo Beach on the third Sunday of every month, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Hogan Made started selling a select few designs at Smoke Signals Smoke Shop in Seminole Heights over the summer.
